Description

Reuses moisture from your exhaled breath. Small shape makes it easier to travel with. It also uses less electricity which provides a longer charge with your battery pack.

It is a water less humidification that requires no additional power and takes up very little space. A great alternative to large humidifiers.

Usage

To install a Heat Moisture Exchanger for therapeutic use, connect the large diameter end of the HME to your mask and the smaller diameter end to your CPAP tube. Be sure both connections are full seated and secure. Your HME is now ready for use.

Replacing HME’s

Heat Moisture Exchangers should be changed as needed when humidification levels appear to drop – usually about once a week with proper storage and nightly use. When not in use HMEs should be stored a sealed plastic bag (i.e. a ZipLock). The HME will immediately begin to collect moisture and humidity when exposed to air. (Note: In-Line HME packaging originally recommended replacement of the HME on a daily basis; however weekly changes have been found to be more effective and the packaging is being updated to reflect this.)

What's Included

1 HME (Heat Moisture Exchanger) humidifier.

Should be combined with:
- AirSense10 side cover
- Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite Battery Pack

Helpful Product Information

Recommended to use HME humidifier with AirSense10 Side Cover (to replace humidifier tub) to maximize lifespan of external battery charge. Running your CPAP/APAP with the humidifier tub will result in significant decrease to external battery power supply.
