CPAP Machines Canada

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines are one of the best ways to treat sleep apnea.  At Liberty Sleep Apnea, we carry CPAP machines from Resmed. They work by providing continuous airflow to your lungs while you sleep, so you do not stop breathing.

Currently, we can only sell our CPAP devices within Manitoba & Ontario and to those with appropriate prescriptions.  If you would like us to order you the CPAP machine that you see here, please contact us by filling out the form below or by calling us at 204-837-5337

If you are new to CPAP therapy or need to replace your device, we highly suggest using APAP machines instead, as they are even more effective for treating sleep apnea.

CPAP Machine FAQs

How Long Should You Sleep With a CPAP Machine?

You can sleep with a CPAP machine for the duration of the night - ideally 7+ hours to get the most out of your sleep. It is recommended a minimum of 4 hours of usage every night be termed compliant with therapy.

What is the best position to sleep with a CPAP Machine?

Sleeping on your side is one of the best positions to sleep in with a CPAP machine as it prevents gravity from impacting your airways. If you are a back or stomach sleeper, it will still work.

Should I Use a CPAP Machine When I Nap?

If you suffer from sleep apnea, it is suggested that you wear your device even during a brief siesta or nap. You should wear your cpap machine every single time you sleep to get the most benefit from therapy. Check out the types of Sleep Apnea Machines.

How Often Should I Change the Water in My CPAP Device?

It is recommended to use only Distilled water in your cpap humidifier. Distilled means no minerals. You should empty your humidifier chamber every morning and replace it with new fresh distilled water every night. Once per week, you should clean your humidifier chamber in warm soapy water (mild dish detergent is recommended) or some chambers can be washed on the top rack of your dishwasher.

How Often Should I Replace My CPAP Machine Accessories?

A CPAP mask or cushion may need to be changed once every three to six months. At a minimum, we recommend that you replace your cpap mask, tubing and water chamber once per year. You should replace your filters once every 3 months.

Do You Sell CPAP Machines Across Canada?

Currently we only sell CPAP devices within Manitoba. If you need a machine and are located outside of Manitoba, feel free to reach out to us and we will point you in the right direction.

Do You Need a Prescription to Order a CPAP Device?
